A simple mileage log for business drives, with exports ready for tax time.
- iPhone
- Free to download
- Optional Pro upgrade
Mileage Mule logs your drives and tags each trip as business or personal. Add trips by hand for free, or upgrade to Pro to have trips detected and logged automatically.
The log exports to CSV or a text report with an estimated deduction, so the records the IRS asks for are already organized when tax season arrives.
Features
Business and personal tags
Mark every trip as business or personal, and see business miles and the estimated deduction add up as you go.
Automatic trip detection (Pro)
Mileage Mule notices when you start driving, logs the trip when you have been stopped for a couple of minutes, and sends a quiet notification. Open the Log tab once a week to tag trips as work or personal.
Manual entries
Enter a trip by hand, including the places and the purpose, for any drive that was not tracked.
Multiple vehicles
Keep a nickname, year, make, model, and current odometer reading for each vehicle.
Export and reports
Pick a date range, review the summary of trips, miles, and estimated deduction, then export to CSV for Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, or save a text report for reimbursement.
Private by design
Trip data stays on your device. Automatic detection uses balanced GPS to limit battery use and needs location permission set to Always.
