DeepLog is a free iPhone app for recording scuba dives. It stores the details of each dive, tracks when gear is due for service, and keeps a photo of your certification card on hand, even without cell service.

The core logbook is free. Dive site mapping, dive conditions, and CSV export come with a one-time premium upgrade.

Features

Dive logging

Record the dive site, depth, bottom time, gas mix, and notes for each dive, and attach photos to any entry.

Gear and service reminders

Add regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, and other equipment, then set a service reminder so nothing goes overdue.

Pre-dive checklist

Run through a checklist before getting in the water so the small steps are not skipped.

Certification cards

Keep photos of your certification cards in the app, available whenever a dive shop asks.

Nitrox gas calculator

Pick a gas mix and depth to see no-decompression time, oxygen partial pressure, and maximum operating depth. It is a reference tool only, so always dive with a certified dive computer.

Premium: map, conditions, export

See pinned dive sites on a map, pull in local weather conditions, and export the full log to CSV.
