Landscape work is where Steven gets to slow down: waiting for the right light over the Red Hills region north of Tallahassee, the wetlands toward the coast, or the shoreline along Florida’s Big Bend. Many of the images below use exposure blending and tone-mapping to hold the full range of light a single frame can’t otherwise capture: clouds, water, and shadow detail all at once.
