Two weekends ago I got to shoot with Heather and her husband and daughter. They have been great clients of mine that I have worked with at least once a year since I shot their wedding back in the beginning day of my profession photographer career. For this shoot we wanted to do a scenic country backdrop. None of us had been to the covered bridge that connects Lafayette Heritage Trail Park and J.R. Alford Greenway but it proved to be a perfect location. We parked at JRAG and there was a decent amount of parks guests (and horses!) but once on the trail it was very seldom that we encountered any one making it easy to shoot with this beautiful family!
My family sessions typically run for about an hour and our best early in the morning or at the golden hour (one hour before sunset). I can accommodate multiple family members but typical groups of two to five work best since a shoot like this typically involves hiking through some remote locations.
